Pleasant, welcoming staff. Great atmosphere, which was accentuated by a fantastic chef who prepared delicious food with a great personality and gusto to match.
What an experience, I came here for an impromptu lunch date with my wife and had an excellent experience! I wish I had gotten our waitresses name and our chefs name. They made it that much more special. I'd definitely recommend the hibachi lunch. Well done benihana!
Had a great time here. Very entertaining.
Watching your food being prepared is nice to see. My husband who isn't a cook, was able to get a few tips. Nice atmosphere. Will go again.
3 stars because the amount of times I called and I had to remind them to sing happy birthday to my boyfriend. We got done our food, I got done my dessert, and still nothing. Other than that people were lovely and food was amazing.
The service and ambiance was spot in. The whole concept is great and interactive. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion as it is a bit pricey
Very friend staff that caters for every need. The food service at the table from your dedicated chief was superb. Very entertaining with a smile whilst enjoying your selected menu. The space has a large seating area for pre or post dinner which is very useful. Pricey but the atmosphere, quality of food and service substantiates it.
The classic benihana menu, it's the gift that keeps giving. Sadly this time the meat was abit average however the show the chefs demonstrate whilst cooking makes you forget all that. The food was and atmosphere is always what make this place great. However I just wish the pricing was abit more forthright, we all got charged for egg fried rice without our knowledge which really dampens the mood when you get the bill it's not the price it's the principal! But yea for a different dining experience benihana continues to excel!-6/10-
Great food and fun ambience but can be a bit more sympathetic to vegetarians
Went here with a group of my friends, they gave us a private area since we were more than 8 people. Would highly recommend trying to go with a large group! We had an amazing waitress serving us throughout. The food is delicious, obviously fresh and cooked to perfection. The entertainment was great, would recommend the onion volcano as it’s one of the most entertaining parts of the cooking.
An unforgettable night! Reserved a table for my girlfriend’s birthday and was served by Cesar.. amazing skills and a very friendly person.. the staff were great.. thank you everyone!
It's more for the experience than the flavour (I often overseason my food when cooking). Entertaining watching the staff cook the food live and has a social vibe.
Been here for the first time and we absolutely loved it. The food is cooked in front of you and the staff are very helpful and their attention to details is awesome. The cooks put on a show just for you and the waiter is always there for anything you would want. Thank you for a great meal and show. Also I was surprised to find a variety of people working here.
A great place for the family to have a nice meal. Food can be expensive. We paid nearly 150£ for a family of three. But the kids always love it. Service is always good hear as well.
As we came late on a Sunday for our meal i was expecting a frosty reception. However i must say we (myself and the family) had an absolutely fantastic experience. All the team were great and the food was excellent. Marvin our chef was top notch as well as Tamara who waited our table. Recommend this place highly. Well worth the money
Was worried about being disappointed, honestly worth all the hype. Food was delicious, preparation was great (thank you Caesar) service was fantastic (thank you Danielle) strongly recommended trying this place out for a good meal and entertainment!
Great atmosphere all round and constant entertainment with great food! Would definitely recommend!
I visited here for the first time on Saturday. The service was very good & I enjoyed the table cooking. The only small gripe was not being able to sit until our full party arrived. However, I understand that it's part of the experience. Overall, it was a good experience.
Benihana finally we met.Never got a chance to visit one of this teppanyaki chain restaurants until tonight. The service was good and the chef Francis skilful on the grill. The quality of the meat was good however the starter of soup and salad was a bit of a let down hence no 5 stars. It’s nice to see the chef preparing the food right in front of you with a bit of show.It is a bit pricey but you pay for the experience. Definitely worth a visit especially if it’s a special occasion.
Cool Benihana branch with a nice launch and bar. Food always great with a great ambience. This branch is better than the one in Piccadilly Circus
Very good! Food and chefs
Probably the best Japanese restaurant in london, with the chef trying to put on a show for you as he cooks your food right infront of you. It's expensive but worth it, if you manage to find a funny chef that would provide that extra entertainment then your night is set. Order food that won't come straight out of the kitchen as then you've wasted your time and money.
I really enjoyed my time at Benihana, the theatrics of the chef and the way the food was cooked was a lot of fun. It was a live food show and you cold smell and see all the great foods being prepared just as you wanted. The chef was friendly and funny. I would defo recommend Benihana to anybody who enjoys some live action and yummy food.
Was taken to Benihana on a 1st date, I was beyond impressed, the food was superb, so fresh and tasty, we had starters, mains and shared a dessert the cocktails where absolutely divine drank way too much, my date spent a total of £140, wish we had entertainment yes the chefs put on a performance but geisha dancers would have been lovely, then again my date was on a monday evening.I would highly recommend this restaurants
This place is amazing when you get that one chef that is entertaining and a people person. My third visit and on one occasion I got a chef that wasn't so great must have been having a bad day who knows😫 The other two occasions the chef was very entertaining this certainly adds to the dining experience. Atmosphere is lovely, be prepare to share the table with others unless you have a party of say 6-8. Don't be afraid to dress up they have a bar area in which you can chill and have some drinks.
It's more of a experience. The cook is definitely the focus of the evening. Food was good too, not delicious but good. Also if you do not like to be seated next to stranger than this place is not for you 😉
Went here for my wedding anniversary as it came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. The food was more than enough and the flavours were amazing.
Overrated but a bit of fun if you're going with a large group for a birthday or something similar. I've had much better Japanese food, so you really are paying for the experience. The chefs are great and add an element of comedy and showmanship but I imagine it's the same script and routine everytime. Good fun but I dont think I need to return
Service apart from 1 moody lady was great. The chef was good. I had been before so this time I was taking my son for the experience. Sadly I think the food is very oily and lacks taste. I went with 3 other people and they said the same thing. The cocktails are lovely. I prefer something sweet and fruity and the were able to do that for me very nicely. The tricks on the Hibatchi table are quite cool. But I wouldn't say anything to special (not sure if I'm just hard to please lol) service was pretty quick. They did sing everyone happy birthday but not me I'm not sure why but they were aware as my name was up on the main screen when I was walking in. I thought that was a nice touch.
Fantastic food, great ambience, simply magical!
Really enjoyable experience. Our chef was very skillful and entertaining. The food was excellent. Just be ware that the food prices include the entertainment.
Very good restaurant! Impressive customer service and food.
Good location for a get together, date or a birthday dinner. The set up is beautiful and and luxurious. The staff are welcoming upon arrival and the food is delicious. The chefs make amazing food but they also entertain and make it a fun experience. The only downfall is the wait for the waiter to deliver or ask for a new drink. Need to ask for other sorts of cutlery, sauce etc. The prices are high but it is worth the experience.
Fantastic Japanese meal with "Samurai" chefs who slice, dice and cook your food in front of you in theatrical style. Amazing, you must try it!
